There were lots of questions from the two editors who are new to sewing.
I made this while answering questions from a beginner's perspective, such as how to cut fabric, how to choose fabric, and the order in which to pin.
This was my first time making a 62cm size using a Simple Print pattern.
There are 6 sizes available: 52, 54, 56, 58, 60, and 62.
Like shoes, hats are more comfortable to wear if they are a little loose.
If commercially available hats are too tight, try making one in 60cm or 62cm.
The design is stylish even for beginners.
A simple and compact beret with a band and a voluminous, round beret.
And then there are hats that are variations on the beret by adding brims.
